  1. I got this game today. It did not cost me much. My brother and I had to pay thirty dollars each. Anyway, I like this game. It’s pretty fast. I have not been to weight loss mode yet, but I heard it’s cool from the other reviews.

    Hope you enjoy this toy.

  2. I just recieved a DDRextreme bundle last night for my birthday and I love it! It is just so much fun to do all the songs, new and old. There are so many modes including lesson and training for beginners.I give this game a 4 out of 5 stars because

  3. This is a gr8 game! My friend got it for her birthday! I have DDR Max:2! It’s great for boys or girls! My friend’s parents were playing it too! LOL! A lot of my friends enjoy playing it! It’s great exercise! A lot of music to dance to too! I recommend for girls to use it for sleepovers cuz that’s what my friend did! I rated 5 stars for fun, cuz it is! Education, well kinda that you have to concentrate on dancing and looking at the arrows, so I put 4.. I put 5 stars for durable! I really recommend for you (whoever you are!) to get this! It’s really really fun! But sometimes, you do get tired of it. If you do, maybe you should invite friends, over and play together! I hope my review helped! :)

  4. The DDR games are probably the best PS2 games around. My sister doesn’t have a taste for this music, but that’s because she doesn’t have an open mind. That’s why I think Bemani (Konami’s music brand) Should make some sort of make your own DDR game. You can stick the PS2 disk into a PC DVD-Rom drive and download your own flavor of music onto a certain section of the disk. From there, you can put the disk into the PS2 and create the dance steps in edit mode. It would be a great way to make more money, because we, the people, would buy it!

Anyway, let’s get back on topic. DDR Extreme is just like all the other DDR games out there. Sadly, there’s a catch…

…This game probably has the worst music in a DDR game EVER! It’s a great game, and I love it, but why do we have to hear I’m For Real again! Not to mention, there are those 80′s songs which aren’t half-bad. Like a Virgin, The Reflex, Junior Senior, Y.M.C.A., Kids in America, and Ladies’ Night might ring a few bells for people over 30.

Some of the Japanese songs are too bubbly and cutesy, but overall, there are still pretty good. Love Love Sugar is still a great song even though I’m a boy, and Pink Rose isn’t bad either, but once you listen to Tsugaru about 100 times, you start to really hate it and want to smash your hand through the T.V. and punch the song. But the Apple Mix is way better…and way harder!

The narrator guy who encourages you throughout the songs gets very old after a while. “Your not an ordinary fella’”, “Good, GOOD! Keep on goin’”, and “Yes…” makes it a little hard to concentrate on the game.

The mat that comes with it isn’t very hot either, since it wears out in about a month. I say just buy a 1″ thick mat that wears out never!

Buying the eye toy for party mode isn’t worth it. It has really boring games.

Overall rating: 4 stars; it’s worth buying, but don’t buy any of the optional things like the eye toy. Only get the mat, ’cause it wouldn’t be Dance Dance Revolution otherwise! Duh!

  5. Now that I have experienced what this game should have been(extreme2), I just can’t play it the same. That and DDR max, max2, extreme 2, and in the groove all have better music.
