Ordered the DDR Max2 + Ignition 2.0 package and got the pad but no game. After repeated attmepts to contact RedOctane finally talked with some there and was told the game would be shipped. 20 days later, still no game. Will not dispute credit card charge and file complaint with the FTC. Buyer beware. You may not get all of your order too. Good luck with getting a response from their customer service.

This game is aload of fun. Although it isn’t real danceing, once you get over that you will realize that this game is the greatest dance simulator ever toppling over great arcade dance games such as Pumt it Up, Para Para Paradise, and Dance Maniax. None come close to being as fun and exciting as this!

I’ll start by telling what DDR is. When you play a song of DDR, arrows scroll across the screen to a marked spot. When the arrows reach the spot, you step on the coresponding arrow on the dance pad(or push the button on the controller..”OH what a challenge! and you get SO much excercise!” *sarcasm*) Still don’t understand? Go to an arcade or pizza place with the arcade version and, even if you don’t play, just watch other people and you’ll understand.
Now.. my opinion on the game.. it needs about 2 times as many fast songs as it has. There are too many slow to moderately fast songs that only make themselves hard by cramming tons of arrows into every little noise the song makes and forcing you to play on 2x-3x to even read them.. About the freeze arrows.. sometimes you don’t put enough weight on the arrows and little kids don’t weigh enough to keep it down period.. Other than that I don’t really care if they stay or not.
Nevertheless, any game of DDR is a good game. Very fun. You’ll spend weeks playing this game and it’s a great game to have at parties and such.
My favorite songs: Rhythm and Police(K.O.G G3 Mix), Orion.78(Civilization Mix), Abyss
Definitely buy it. Have fun!
