I hoped for an upgrade from the pad that comes with the game however this pad is really no different. In fact, it slips more and won't stay flat from the amount of foam that is inside it. While the dance dance game for Wii is GREAT and good exercise this pad is not worth it. I plan to try a metal dance pad in near future. Dont get me wrong it’s not a bad game pad and is a good price, but if you have the standard carpeted apartment floor you may want to buy a second Nintendo Pad for the extra 10 bucks.

Backing is NOT non-slip, I played with it on a carpet and it slid all over the place (not a problem with the mat that comes with the game).
