I'm 24 and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed playing this game. He had never played DDR before and I think it's a great version to start out on. It's fun to play as your Mii and to dress yourself up in silly outfits. I love the Lion King music!

The kids (10 y.o. son and 8 y.o. daughter) have played with this every day since it arrived. My wife and I have also tried it out a few times.

one thing i don't like about this game is that it doesn't let you die - so you have to go through the whole song even if you don't like the song or it is too hard for you. that said, maybe that is so kids don't get frustrated by dying all the time if the song is too hard.

The Disney movie songs bear little resemblance to the actual songs. The songs are too slow, making it harder to dance to them. The only good thing about this is that it has two dance pads. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone.

I bought the Wii "Dance Dance Revolution Disney Grooves" today. My 18 year old son set it for the expert level, did the moves for one song, finished it, and said, "That was lame," and left. He is enthusiastic about DDR and is very good at it. I presume he won't step on the mat again at home unless another DDR disk shows up. My 10 year old daughter was unhappy with the songs. She scrolled through the list and listened to bits, hoping to find something that appealed to her. My 12 year old daughter was quiet, did the moves for one song capably and seemed to have a calm take-it-or-leave-it attitude. Within an hour of opening the box, the 18 year old and 10 year old urged me to "Take it back and get your money back." We called and found we can't do that because the shrink wrap has been removed. I am the mother who bought it. Given my choices at this point, I think I will use it with or without anyone else on the second mat. I seriously dislike what was done to the songs I love. The ones I loved were perfectly awesome before they were remixed. Bet it was to save corporate money, a way to keep from having to pay the original composers royalties. Why else would anyone in corporate decide to take a musical work of art and pay to have it remixed into this semi-recognizable pile of notes? I can admire decision makers for being fiscal conservatives. Still, what about my heart and happiness? What about the $70 I paid for a huge disappointment . . . for all four of us? I wish the mat controllers had longer cords. I recommend a person only buy this after playing it at a friend's house. Run through enough of the songs to see if the music and difficulty levels suit you.
