I had so much fun using the Pad! It helps burn some fats and helps you stay strong and fast. In fact, I don’t think I’d ever want it gone!

This mat ALWAYS seems to flicker/double jump every time there are double arrows which is really annoying. This happens especially on the harder levels of DDR. The flickering causes you to miss the next arrow and then, you end up failing the song due to the mat!! I would only recommend this mat to someone if they are buying a mat for only the very easy levels.

This pad is ok if you can’t get past the easy levels, but as soon as you move up and start doing any of the harder stuff it doesn’t hold up at all. It moves around, bunches up, doesn’t register your moves properly … it’s really frustrating! Last time I played on this with friends we all got so annoyed!! I have ordered a (hopefully) better pad as I can’t even stand to play on this one … it’s that frustrating!

I had heard a friend comment that he lost a lot of weight strictly doing the DDR, so I wanted to try it out. If you do the higher levels, it definitely makes you sweat. Although I wasn’t aware that an actual game didn’t come with the dance pad, I quickly ordered the game and was dancing away a week later. One problem, it recommends to place it on hard floors, of which we don’t have in front of our televisions, and that does seem to make a difference (and not record your footwork correctly) if you hit the correct arrow (usually the down) for us. The bottom has crinkled a little probably b/c of the hard floor recommendation.
